About Mia
Mia embarked on her spiritual journey in New York, USA. Due to a childhood illness that could prove fatal, all physical activities were limited, and she was confined for seven years, growing separate from the norm. Writing helped to alleviate the sadness and loneliness. Years of depression due to toxic relationships followed. The prescription medication altered her mind and weakened her body, having had a near-death experience. Working the 12 Step program of Emotions Anonymous was instrumental in conquering twenty years of prescription medication. Following God's plan, her innate creative abilities surfaced, and synchronicities began. She immersed herself in Native American Shamanic wisdom teachings, which uncovered fascinating truths crucial to spiritual development, and her true purpose was revealed. Combining Eastern philosophies and ancient healing modalities with the wisdom of her past experiences, Mia developed a heightened sense of awareness that led to her degree as a Reiki Master Healer and Spiritual Advisor. She refined her knowledge and skills in Germany as an ordained Interfaith Minister.
More than twenty years of professional experience, and various art therapies are well-received by individuals, in hospitals, Continuing Education, Mental health facilities, and Lifelong Learning Programs.
During the COVID-19 global crisis, Rev. Cara relocated to the West Coast, where she shares her gifts. Her art and designs have been exhibited in shops and galleries in the US, Canada, and abroad. The continuous journey to rise above the ongoing complexities of life is broadened by a powerful sense of Self and her foundation. She was honored in a United Nations documentary on Alternative Medicine, where she demonstrated her healing skills. Mia connects to Buddhism and the Self-Realization Fellowship.
"I delight in the simple wonders of life and find joy in motivating others develop their uniqueness. See Workshops. My mission is to educate and encourage the use of alternative medicine and preventative therapies before unwelcome dis-ease, alcohol, chemical dependency, or social media become a controlling force in one's life." -M.
