MiaCara, Artist, Shamanic Energy Healing
About Mia
Mia embarked on her spiritual journey in New York during the Silent Generation. Due to a childhood illness that could prove fatal, she was confined for seven years. All physical activities were limited, and she grew separate from the norm. She began journal writing to alleviate sadness and loneliness. Years of depression due to toxic relationships, including near-death experiences, followed. Working the 12 Step program of Emotions Anonymous contributed to her conquering twenty-five years of prescription medication. She followed God's plan, and her innate creative abilities surfaced. Synchronicities began.
She established herself in Native American Shamanic wisdom teachings, which uncovered fascinating truths crucial to spiritual development, and her true purpose was revealed. The study of Eastern philosophies and ancient healing modalities led to a heightened sense of awareness, culminating in a Reiki Master Spiritual Counsel degree in New York, USA, and in Germany. Mia is an ordained Interfaith Minister.
More than twenty years of professional experience, and various art therapies are well-received by individuals, in hospitals, Continuing Education, Mental health facilities, and Lifelong Learning Programs.
During the COVID-19 global crisis, Rev. Cara relocated to the West Coast, where she shares her gifts of Energy Healing in the Sandiego. Community. Her art and designs have been exhibited in shops and galleries in the US, Canada, and abroad. The continuous journey to rise above ongoing complexities of life is broadened by a powerful sense of Self, and her foundation. She was honored in a United Nations documentary on Alternative Medicine where she demonstrated her healing skills. Mia is currently practicing applied Buddhism.
